Kwaheri Interns
Five of our 2006 Interns have come to the conclusion of their internship program. As they transition out of this leadership development program, please pray for God’s guidance into the next phase of life.
Mrs. Irene Maina : is a retired teacher, and has served us in the benevolence and counseling ministry. Through the year God has given her deep compassion for the needy around us. She hopes to start a business recycling plastic waste & shopping bags, with the hope of assisting those who are unskilled with a simple job that generates income. Please pray for her as she looks for counsel and capital.
Ruth Kenyah : has served in our children’s ministry for most of the year, and more recently at Beacon Of Hope. She feels God’s call to continue in ministry, and to study theology. Ruth has very strong leadership potential, and we would be honored if she chose to join our ministry for further training. Please pray for her as she seeks God on the next step.
Ruth Baraka : served in the children’s ministry, is a gifted teacher, and about the most gentle spirit you will ever meet. She hopes to pursue this line, train for children and eventually work as a early childhood teacher. Pray for her as she explores the training opportunities open to her.
Mark Mumo : Mark worked largely with the youth, is trained in Engineering, and hopes to start a career in IT. But Mark has always had a passion for missions, and is seeking God on how he can marry his dream and his passion. Pray clear direction into his life.
Jonathan Snowball : trained in church ministry, Jonathan will be going back to Canada in a months time to join the staff of a church in Toronto as a Pastor (God willing). Several options are open. Please pray that God will lead his to the specific one that will capitalize on his gifts. Jonathan also needs to sell his car (1998 Sunny B 14 Nissan with 59 000 km on it) before he leaves (520,000/= ono). Please pray for a buyer. Contact 0725 859 600 or jonathan_snowball@hotmail.com.
As we look back on the year we want to thank God for each one of these people. They have been a huge blessing to us all. Their presence helped us have the capacity to manage the last year with all it’s challenges, and because of them, things have gone extremely well!
We want to bless them, and ask God to reward them for their faithful service. Thank you Interns!
