Sorry for the lack of notice but we had invited them for next Sunday, but they close the exercise this week. Take the opportunity today, or visit their station at Yaya this week.

Parenting Class : Starts today at 1:30 pm at our church office – Parasia Center, directly opposite Uchumi Hyper, immediately next to Good Shepherd Church. If you wish for your child to be dedicated at our child dedication service on Dec 3rd, you must attend this class.

Prayer Meeting : Join us for our prayer meeting each Sunday 9:45 – 10:15 for 30 minutes of prayer for the church and for Urbana 06.

Please pray for Pastor Steve Maina and family during this time of grief. Their sister Mercy Kigame (Ruben Kigame’s wife) passed away in a fatal car accident this week. A memorial service for her will be held at NPC Central this afternoon, 1:30 – 3:00 pm. Funeral will be held in Eldoret on Tuesday.

Sermon DVD’s : of our present sermon series (August) are ready. Buy a set and pass them onto a friend you know needs it. CD’s of the message are also available immediately after each sermon. Buy your copies at the Information desk. Need to know more about investing in the stock market? Buy the advertised book “12 Keys to Financial Success” by Stephen Adei. Mr Adei will also be visiting Nairobi soon to conduct a seminar on Finances – we will advertise his presence closer to the time.

Woops : We need to postpone the advertised celebration Service (1 year Anniversary) by one month so that we are well ready. We wish to set it for November as opposed to the advertised October. Nov 5th will still be a special service to celebrate the coming of our new Pastor. This will also be Pastor Janet’s first service with us in this new capacity. Holding these two special events together will also enable us to save on costs as we want to “go to town” on this.

School Fees : Did you know that we support some needy children by paying school fees for them? We have just given away a large sum of money for this terms fees. Six high school children from Cheryl’s (72,000/=), some from Tumaini Kwa Watoto (50,000/= this ministry takes street children off the streets and reconnects them with their family, and then tries to get them back into school), 4 of our own high school church members (30,000/=) and several high schoolers from Tulip Ministries (120,000/=). Thank you – your generous giving has made this ministry possible.

Do you have a will? : If not, then we have brought together a few of our lawyer to set that right. We have a general will document you can sign – it’s basic but it’s 10 times better than nothing.! And once you have signed this one, you can later on approach your lawyer to reword it in more detail. Take this very important first step today, and as we’ve said each week – JUST DO IT!
