Prayer
Pray for K-Krew ministries
One of our pictures of reality of our Vision 2020 is to “reach one million people with the gospel of Christ”. One of the ministries on the Frontline of that goal is K-Krew who reach out to the youth in this country. Let us pray for them this week:
Along with being on radio and TV, K-Krew continues with their regular high school/ college ministries. Please continue to pray for this work. This year we launched the high school outreach at Alliance Boys on 1st February. We had an awesome time of worship, fellowship and word. 20 students gave their lives to Christ. Praise God for them and pray for spiritual growth.
87 students at Alliance Boys also signed up for Bible Study. K-Krew and Good News International have developed a Bible Study which uses Christian Music Videos to disciple the youth. It's called a Video Loop, a contemporary attempt to disciple a musically savvy and visually oriented generation of youth. We will be introducing it in other schools as we go along. Pray that it will bear fruit; also that God will continue to give us more creativity to reach thousands of youth with the gospel.
This weekend 7th and 8th Feb, K-Krew is at Starehe Boys from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. On Wed Feb 11th we will be at Daystar University with Kanjii Mbugua ministering through music from 7pm. Please pray for these two events. We want to reach first year students in these places.
Please pray for the entire K-Krew Team us as we continue our high school and college tours this year. We target to reach out to 50,000 students in the high schools and 20,000 students in colleges and campuses. Pray for thousands of commitment to follow Christ. We earnestly desire that the Lord will use us to raise a godly generation of youth. Pray the God will provide the funds to do this work.
Also pray for our Power Radio signal 91.1 FM. It is currently being tested and soon we will be running regular broadcasts. Right now you can actually Tune in to 91.1 Power Radio and listen to fresh Gospel Music.
