Prayer
K-Krew went to Starehe Boys (Starch) last Saturday and Sunday night. We had an awesome time of ministry. 104 students came to the Lord on both days. Praise God for these conversions. Many of them will be joining our Video Loop Bible study. Please pray for them to grow spiritually.
K-krew has many new converts coming to Christ through our outreaches in schools. Our main challenge is follow up. Though we are encouraging many to join our B.S groups, the students need mentors to regularly bond with them to teach them how to walk as Christians amidst all the challenges of youth. Pray that God will raise mentors within the K-krew team, and for resources to support more team members. If you can help in any way including availability to mentor students, please contact us through the church address.
K-Krew's theme this year is, 'Kaa Si Sisi' (If it is not us, this generation, who else?) Please continue to pray for impact. On 26th Feb - 1st Mar, we will be in Nakuru area, at Egerton university on 27th Feb and on 28th Feb and 1st march, we will go to AIC Morop Girls and Nakuru Boyz.
At Club Xpressions (Youth ministry) we are running Bible studies groups in Lenana Boys School. About 200 boys are participating and they are very excited about the knowing the word of God and the maturity that is happening in their personal lives. We are also doing leadership training for prefects. Our aim is evangelism and also to build up Christ centered leadership in the boys. Please pray for this process. Also we want to find a way to reach out to the whole school which has about 1200 students.
Children’s Ministries is also doing outreach. We have resumed our outreach at Jamhuri Primary school. The school authorities allows us to have a teaching opportunity every Wednesday morning, where are teaching our F.A.I.T.H. values. FAITH stands for Firm foundation in the word, Active devotional life, Involved in their community, Transformed in character and a Heart for missions. Pray that God will use us to build a truly biblical foundation in the children. Pray also for volunteers for this ministry
