Obvious Frailties
Have you walked in a room and not felt that you are ready to deal with what you are about to face...? For some it is a presentation you are making at the office, or those moments in the exam room that you feel that your weaknesses and imperfections are about to be revealed? Or even looked in the mirror and… lets not even go there!

There are those times I have an argument with someone about something that I know I did, and am guilty, but I feel the need to defend the little effort I put into it. This is especially worse when it is something that has been brought out about my performance and character like a million times over!

What do you do with the obvious weaknesses that we have, those nasty things we struggle with? Is the Bible's promise of a fulfilled vibrant and victorious life only wishful thinking? There are those who will choose to just live with it and say “this is me, accept and deal with it” and then there are those who will continually beat themselves up and prefer getting used to dealing with guilt, and finally there are those who desire awesomeness, and continue trusting that God will transform them as they keep listening to Him and trusting in Him.

Prepare for awesomeness is about a people who choose to subscribe to the transformation of God…and it starts with a conscious daily decision!

Club Xpressions
Welcome to the most happening club in Nairobi on any given Sunday, the CLUB XPRESSIONS.  If this is the first time you are visiting Nairobi Chapel, sit back, relax and enjoy the hosting of XPRESSIONITES, the Nairobi chapel youth. The following are the ministries of Club Xpressions:

Club Xpressions which came to be 2years ago is  a place where Real youth, meets  a Real God, experience Real Transformation so as to bring Real growth through service in a Real world, that’s what we call the xpressions story. Trying to be as REAL as it can get. In partnership with K Krew, Xpressions has evolved into one of the most happening youth churches in Nairobi with full blown sub independent ministries that include:

Guza: This is our pre-teen transitional class. The first of two transitional groups, it seeks to move the teens from a Children's ministry mindset to a Youth ministry mindset. These Dudes and dudets are normally 12 years.

Kuhani: Kuhani: this is the main “CLUBS” worship team. The team cuts across all ages of xpressions. They will be leading us today in worship

Cross Roads: These boys and girls aged 13 years, go through lessons the whole year, culminating in our Rites Of Passage Experience (ROPES) which marks their graduation. The ROPES camp is a simulation of the African rites of passage where the initiates are isolated from community, instructed and challenged in difficult circumstances and then they are celebrated as they are reintegrated back into community. These are ROPES initiates who have been raised to the (teens) peerage. With their new found status in the community of faith, guys are obliged to live responsibly and become a positive influence in their world.

Dice: now these guys can move. D.I.C.E which is an abbrevition of Dedication in Christ expressions has been rocking Nairobi with groovy moves, insane energy and more is yet to come. Wanna join guys, holla for a slot to their constant Sunday afte auditions.

Kruks is Xpressions newest ministry that was primarily meant for KIMURI primary. But it has become like Xpressions social justice of sorts. Though we know that life is ngumu, the aim of this ministry is to encourage those who are disadvantaged, where we try to make them feel as part of our society, and help stir them towards their God intended destinies.
